This works great for boosting the shadows in a non-bracketed panorama and can (at low ISO) avoid the need to shoot bracketed images.

If you click on the movie it will stop rotating for 5 seconds, then it will start rotating again. Roll your mouse wheel to zoom in and out or click the icon at top right to fill your monitor with panorama movie. When viewing the movies click the link on the page on the lower right to return to this page. If you place your mouse over the thumbnails pictures text will pop up and tell you where the images were taken. Use your mouse to drag the movie up and down and your mouse wheel to zoom in and out, click the icon in the top right of the movie to view the movie in full screen mode and click the Esc key to return to normal viewing mode.īelow click on the panoramic thumbnail pictures to view more panoramic movies that open in a new window - click the back button or the link at the lower right below the image to return to this page. I sell VR panoramas for web sites for $250 per movie and I can offer package deals on the purchase of several movies. 3D spherical movies are one of the best ways to see what an area looks like. You can zoom in an out of the movie by rolling the mouse button (PC), and also expand the movie to fill your entire monitor. One can also make movies of interiors and even use HDR images.

To make these movies requires a fisheye lens (8-10mm) and special software (PTGui). The Aurora borealis is particularly challenging because it requires long exposures. I have taken hundreds of 3D spherical movies from locations in Canada. My first spherical movies required a Flash player which is no longer supported so I had to convert these movies to use HTML 5 and javascript code (javascript must be enabled on your computer). You can also zoom in and out of the movie. 3D spherical movies allow you to interact and see a scene from all directions including looking up at the sky or down at the ground.
